The UAE airline "Emirates" banned the carrying of pagers and walkie-talkie devices on its planes, DPA quoted BTA as saying.
"All passengers traveling on flights to, from or through Dubai are prohibited from carrying pagers or walkie-talkie devices in checked or hand luggage," said a statement on the airline's website.
If such items are found, they will be confiscated by Dubai Police, the statement added.
