Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will visit Saudi Arabia to discuss ways to stop the “genocide” carried out by Israel in the region, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry said, quoted by the Iranian news agency IRNA, quoted by BTA.
During the visit to Riyadh, representatives of the two countries will hold talks and coordinate actions to end the crimes of the “Israeli regime”, wrote on the “X“ platform. (X) Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai.
The talks will take place within the framework of Iran's diplomatic consultations and coordination with regional countries to force Israel to end its actions. According to Baghai, Iran is determined to strengthen its relations with its neighbors in order to ensure regional security and stability, as well as to develop economic cooperation.
After visiting Lebanon and Syria following his participation in the UN General Assembly in New York, Araghchi said he will also head to Saudi Arabia.
According to Aragchi, Iran's policy is to support the “Axis of Resistance”. Although Tehran does not fear war, it has repeatedly stressed that it does not seek an escalation of tensions. “Iran is ready to deal with any scenario”, Aragchi added.
