Iranian air defenses have successfully repelled most of the Israeli strikes, Al Mayadeen TV channel reported.

Israel did not hit Iranian oil facilities or Imam Khomeini and Mehrabad airports in Tehran, the media added.

According to her, Israel tried to attack three military bases in Tehran province, and the attacks were repelled by Iranian air defenses.

Earlier, the Israeli military said it was striking military targets in Iran in response to “months of continuous attacks”.

„More than 100 aircraft took part in the attack on Iran at a distance of 2 thousand kilometers, including F-35 Stelt fighters,”, according to a publication of The Jerusalem Post newspaper.

The facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian armed forces) west and southwest of Tehran were not hit as a result of the Israeli missile strike, Tasnim news agency reported.

According to her, the sounds characteristic of explosions in the vicinity of Tehran are related to the work of air defense.
