The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East, Philip Lazzarini, said Israeli bulldozers caused serious damage to an office of the agency in the West Bank.
„Using bulldozers, Israeli troops severely damaged our office in the Nur Shams camp in the northern part of the West Bank today. It can no longer be used”, he wrote in X.
The office was a hub for providing basic services to the more than 14,000 Palestinian refugees in the camp, including education for children, health care and social protection, Lazzarini said.
He also added that during the Israeli military operation, roads, water supply and electricity networks were destroyed in the camp.
