South Korea has not ruled out the possibility of direct arms deliveries to Ukraine, President Yoon Suk-yeol announced today, which could mark a change in Seoul's policy in this area after reports of training North Korean soldiers to fight against Ukrainian forces in their war with Russia, reported AFP.
„Now, depending on the level of North Korean involvement, we will gradually adjust our support strategy in several stages. This means that we do not rule out the possibility of supplying weapons,”, the head of state said at a press conference in Seoul.
Meanwhile, Russian drones hit a residential area on the outskirts of Kyiv. An apartment was damaged and a garage burst into flames, but no one was injured. According to the mayor of Kyiv, fallen parts of the drone caused the fire.
The air alert declared in Kyiv and most of central and southern Ukraine remained active for more than an hour.
