Thousands of people were urged to evacuate due to a fire near Los Angeles, BTA reported.
The fire has so far destroyed dozens of homes and continues to advance through the hills northwest of the Los Angeles area.
The fire broke out on Wednesday near the town of Camarillo. It is burning in an area where about 30,000 people live.
The situation is worsened by stormy winds with a speed of up to 130 kilometers per hour. The element threatens over 3,500 homes and has already burned nearly 8,100 hectares.
Firefighters are fighting the flames with the help of tanker helicopters.
