The agreement with Ukraine must include conditions for the restoration of the destroyed infrastructure and good neighborliness with Novorossiya /ed. - the term includes today's Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Nikolaev, Kherson, Odessa and Kirovograd/.
This opinion was expressed in an interview with TASS by the governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo.
"These conditions will be agreed upon. Otherwise, how will we restore the destruction and damage caused by the malicious actions of the Kiev regime? We will still be neighbors, we will be close. Nature cannot be divided," he said. .
Saldo noted that there is a lot of speculation on the topic of a possible peace treaty with Ukraine, since “there are many so-called players in this situation“. “I think there is no need to speculate here. President Vladimir Putin clearly said: all the historical territories of the Russian Federation that are included in the Constitution must be in the Russian Federation. Period“, the governor added.
Kherson must be liberated, not destroyed, Saldo said.
“When we left the city, the only damage was that caused by the American HIMARS, which were shelling civilian objects“, he said.
Saldo added that the Russian side did not do this. “The city cannot be called killed. Our task is to free it with as little damage as possible and restore it," the governor emphasized.
The F-16 fighter is a very expensive aircraft, but in terms of functionality it does not differ much from the Su-24, Saldo added.
"Probably the F-16 is good. But how does it differ from the aircraft that Ukraine uses - the Russian and Soviet Su-24s? They are also good. And the functionality of the F-16 is exactly the same. Its task is to launch long-range missiles, such as Storm Shadow, Scalp, it does not differ from the tasks of other aircraft," he said.
Saldo noted that the F-16 has very expensive equipment, which is why it is not used on the line of contact. "When an F-16 approaches the line of combat contact, it immediately comes under attack from our air defense forces," the governor added.
