A civilian was killed during heavy shelling and drone attacks by Russian forces in Ukraine's Sumy region, local authorities reported early today, quoted by DPA and BTA.
Yesterday, Russian forces carried out 169 strikes on border areas and settlements in the region, Sumy region authorities reported on their "Telegram" channel. A total of 311 explosions were registered.
The 59-year-old man died yesterday after a fire in his home, the Ukrainian prosecutor's office reported. In addition, houses were damaged in the Sumy region.
Today, Russian drones attacked other parts of Ukraine, including the capital region, the local military administration reported on "Telegram". According to initial data, no damage was recorded, DPA also reported.
