Because of former US President Joe Biden, there are 21 million migrants on American soil, most of whom are criminals, said the new head of the White House Donald Trump in an interview with Fox News, commenting on the migration crisis in the US.
"It was a big mistake of common sense to allow people to come. And I believe the numbers - 21 million people and a large percentage of them are criminals from all over the world," he said.
Trump emphasized that so many migrants have entered American territory because Biden "allowed this to happen".
The president added that there are thousands of terrorists and tens of thousands of murderers who are walking freely around the country in the US. Many of those who carried out the killings were released from prisons in their own countries and then ended up in the United States, he said.
Earlier, Trump signed an executive order to stop illegal immigrants from entering the United States through the southern border and ordered their deportation.
The Pentagon has begun moving additional helicopters and ground troops to the southern border. According to the Washington Post, Trump is preparing to send an additional 10,000 troops to the border with Mexico.
