Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa is leaving for his first foreign visit, FOCUS reported. He will visit Saudi Arabia on Sunday. The information was reported by the Saudi television Al Arabiya TV, citing its sources.
This will be the first official international visit of Sharaa as head of state after the overthrow of the Bashar Assad regime.
Ahmed al-Sharaa is trying to gain international support for the government he heads.
