"Reform UK" is currently the most popular British party. This is the surprising result of the latest sociological survey by "YouGov", BNR reported.
"The Reformers" continue to shake up British politics. Nigel Farage's party enjoys 25% support, one point ahead of the ruling Labour Party, while the Conservatives are third with 21% approval. The survey, conducted on Sunday and Monday, gave the Liberal Democrats 14% and the Greens 9%.
The agency said the results were within the margin of error, but that did not diminish the rise of "Reform UK" and that Britain was undoubtedly entering a new era of three-party politics.
A notable finding in the survey is that one in five Tory voters in the last election would now vote for the "reformers". Another interesting point is that Prime Minister Keir Starmer is less popular than both Nigel Farage and Conservative leader Kemmy Badenoch.
Analysts say the data is likely to reignite debate within the Tory party over whether they should consider merging with the "reformers" - something Badenoch has repeatedly rejected.
