Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the massive drone strike on Kharkiv, which killed two people and injured more than 30, writes the BBC.
"Over the week, most regions of Ukraine were attacked. 1,310 Russian guided aerial bombs, more than 1,000 attack drones, most of which are "Shaheeds", and nine more missiles of various types, including ballistic. Our air defense forces managed to shoot down a significant part of them," Zelensky said in a statement.
"Russia is prolonging the war and we provide our partners with all the information about what strikes the Russian army is carrying out and what it is preparing for. We expect a reaction from America, Europe and all our allies to this terror against our people," he added.
Russia has not commented on the attack on Kharkiv.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a report on Sunday that Russian aviation, strike drones, missile forces and artillery had struck "infrastructure facilities at military airfields, ammunition depots, a drone assembly plant and their storage sites, as well as concentrations of enemy personnel and equipment in 140 areas."
