US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has held a series of talks dedicated to the possibilities for a ceasefire and outlining the path to peace in Ukraine. The discussions were attended by the foreign ministers of France, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom and Ukraine, as well as the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaia Kallas. This was announced by the US State Department, Focus reports.
According to the department's spokeswoman Tammy Bruce, Rubio held talks with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot, German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful and his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski. The topic of the discussions was the need for coordinated efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire and a long-term solution to the conflict in Ukraine.
