Additional time will be needed to review the draft memoranda between Russia and Ukraine before new dates for the next round of talks are set. This was stated by the spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, quoted by RIA Novosti, reports Focus.
“It will take some time to analyze the draft memoranda that were exchanged. When the two sides are ready, they will agree on new dates for the next stage of the talks“, Peskov told journalists.
On Monday, June 2, the second round of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine was held in Turkey. The meeting, which took place at the “Çırağan“ palace in Istanbul, lasted over an hour. Within its framework, the parties exchanged documents with proposals for resolving the conflict, but no concrete breakthrough was achieved.
