Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Europe next week, where he will hold a series of meetings with the foreign ministers of France, Germany and Belgium, as well as with the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaia Kallas. This was announced today by a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, quoted by “Agence France-Presse“, BTA reports.
In Brussels, Wang Yi will participate in a high-level strategic dialogue between the EU and China, which will be held jointly with Kaia Kallas. The main topics will be global security, economic relations and diplomatic cooperation.
Meetings with Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever and Foreign Minister Maxime Prevost are also planned.
During his tour, Wang Yi will also visit Germany and France, where he will meet with their foreign ministers, Johan Vaudeful and Jean-Noël Barrot. They will discuss key issues related to bilateral relations, international stability and China's role in global diplomacy.
