Repentance and Silence: The Only Terrorist from "Crocus City Hall" Who Fully Admitted His Guilt - 1

Shamsidin Fariduni, one of the four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall" concert hall in Moscow, is the only one who has not only made a full confession, but also expressed remorse for what he did. This is clear from the materials on the case that TASS has reviewed, reports News.bg.

Lawyer Igor Trunov, whose team represents 95 of the victims, has confirmed the authenticity of the documents. According to the testimony of the 26-year-old defendant: “He fully admitted his guilt. He repents for done.

Fariduni, a citizen of Tajikistan, had repeatedly visited the concert hall before the attack to prepare the plan for the attack. He was photographed by a photographer against the background of a poster of the group “Picnic“, which was supposed to give a concert on the day of the attack.

The remaining three defendants - Mukhamadsobir Faizov, Saidakram Rachabolizada and Dalerjon Mirzoev - also admitted their guilt, but showed no remorse.

It became clear that the organizers of the attack promised the perpetrators a cash reward of up to 1 million rubles, and one of them even chose a car of the same value. This was done on the instructions of their leader, known by the pseudonym Sayfullo, according to Fariduni's stories.

The attack on “Crocus City Hall“ was carried out on March 22 2024. According to updated data from the Investigative Committee of Russia, 149 people died, one person remains missing, and 609 were injured. Total material damage is estimated at about 6 billion rubles.

After the attack, the four perpetrators tried to flee to Ukraine, but were detained in the Bryansk region and taken to Moscow. Additional accomplices were also instructed to leave the country, but were caught trying to cross the border.

The criminal case has been transferred to the prosecutor's office for subsequent consideration by the court. 19 people have been charged, including Fariduni, Mirzoev, Fayzov, Rachabolizada, and 15 other accomplices, all of whom are on the list of terrorists in the Russian Federation.

The investigation into two organizers and four members of the terrorist organization continues.

Shortly after the attack, the terrorist group claimed responsibility “Islamic State“ - a claim supported by US authorities. The US said it had warned Russia of an impending attack as early as March, and a similar warning had also been issued by Iran.

In late May, the director of the Federal Security Service (FSB), Alexander Bortnikov, announced that the attack was organized by a branch of “Islamic State“, but accused Ukrainian intelligence of involvement. Ukraine, as well as representatives of Western countries, described these claims as “having nothing to do with reality“.
