Three people have died as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a city beach in Kursk, and the number of injured has increased to six, Alexander Khinshtein, acting governor of the region, reported on his Telegram channel, TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
"To our deep sorrow, as a result of the attack on the city beach, three people died on the spot. I express my sincere condolences to the relatives. Relatives will be provided with all necessary assistance," Khinshtein wrote.
Khinshtein also noted that one man received a shrapnel wound in the shoulder, and another - a rib injury and shrapnel wounds. They were taken to the Kursk Regional Hospital.
Earlier, four people were reported injured: two women, a man and a child.
