Poland and its allies have scrambled fighter jets over Russian airstrikes, the country's Armed Forces Operational Command said in X.
Air raid sirens were sounded across most of Ukraine on Saturday night.
Dozens of people are under the rubble of a five-story building in Aleshki, Kherson region, which collapsed as a result of Ukrainian airstrikes. The Ukrainian armed forces are using drones and preventing services from starting to clear the rubble, the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo, said, according to the Russian news agency TASS.
"Dozens of people are under the rubble of a five-story building destroyed by enemy air strikes. It is impossible for rescuers to even approach this building and start dismantling it. There are FPV drones circling everywhere, reconnaissance drones hanging, monitoring the area and preventing rescuers and utility workers from doing anything,“ he said on his Telegram channel.
The head of the region specified that two Ukrainian air bombs hit the multi-story building and it was practically destroyed. Saldo added that the authorities would announce additional measures taken to rescue people after the clearing of the rubble begins.
