Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will meet with several European leaders in Paris on Thursday, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
The agency notes that this will take place at a time when US efforts to end the war appear to be stalled.
"Such a meeting is planned" to discuss security guarantees for Ukraine and "to achieve diplomatic progress, as the Russians are trying to escape again", a source familiar with the matter told AFP.
According to him, "it has not been planned yet" US President Donald Trump's participation in the meeting.
Diplomatic efforts to find a way out of the war in Ukraine have intensified in recent weeks under the leadership of Trump, who met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska in August. However, the talks have not led to any concrete results.
Meanwhile, Kiev accuses Moscow of using the talks only as a way to buy time and prepare for new attacks.
