The "Third March" movement and the party registered around it have nothing to do with either President Rumen Radev or Vessela Lecheva. This was stated by former spokesman for the official offices Anton Kutev on the air of "The Day Begins".

According to him, there is no real connection between the civil movement and the party.

„At first glance, there is nothing in common between the movement and the party. There is a person who is forming a party, but he has nothing to do with the movement that was of Vessela Lecheva“, emphasized Kutev.

He was categorical that the current party initiative is not related to the president.

“This is not an initiative of the president – the current party. This is more of an attempt to use the president's reputation to obtain political dividends“, said Kutev.

Anton Kutev specified that Vessela Lecheva was related to the head of state only in her capacity as a service minister.

Regarding the use of the name “Third March“ by other individuals, Kutev indicated that everything seems to be an attempt at political abuse. According to Kutev, the allegations of “informal leadership“ are untenable.

„I haven't spoken to Vessela to tell me what the situation is, but judging by the names and photos I saw of the movement, it has nothing to do with either Vessela Lecheva or the president. Obviously, it's about different activities, where apparently this person, whom I don't know, who registered the party, is currently trying to take the name and use it politically, especially with such statements that he was the informal leader. In fact, how can he be an informal leader, when he neither knows about them, nor does he have his phone number and they haven't talked about the issue“, commented Anton Kutev.

Regarding the claims that the project is reminiscent of scenarios from the past, Kutev also commented on a publication by the president's security advisor Dimitar Stoyanov.

„Obviously, this is the goal. Most likely, this was done as a party technology – to take votes by mistake from people who would vote for a possible presidential project“, he pointed out.

According to Kutev, such actions are aimed at wasting votes.

Anton Kutev also commented on the expectations for President Rumen Radev.

“If Radev decides not to make a project, it will cost him a lot of his rating and trust... Many people believe in him as a last hope“, Kutev said.
