On Tuesday, Kostadin Kostadinov's party also commented on GERB's idea of replacing the speaker of the parliament in search of a caretaker prime minister.
Petar Petrov, MP from the PG of "Vazrazhdane": "If there is such a choice of speaker, we from "Vazrazhdane" will make a decision whether to nominate a candidate. If we nominate - this is the only candidacy that we would support, as we have done so far. I can say that the issuance of the decree on the scheduling of the elections is being delayed. We want these elections to be held sooner and that is why we decided not to participate in today's consultations. For us, this delay is solely to conduct some negotiations for a caretaker government, which could last for nearly a year if a cabinet is not formed after the elections."
