Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zhivko Kotsev is in hospital with a deteriorating health condition. This was announced in the program "The Day with Veselin Dremdzhiev" the deputy from "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB) Boyko Rashkov, quoted by noivini.bg.
He did not specify what exactly is wrong with Kotsev or in which hospital he is. Earlier in the day, information appeared in some media that the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had gone on sick leave.
Rashkov also said that Kotsev was pressured by the Minister of the Interior Kalin Stoyanov, i.f. chief prosecutor Borislav Sarafov and rank-and-file prosecutors to resign.
"Bill was threatened with detention, as well as criminal charges and the like, which was accompanied by a previously prepared request for dismissal," the deputy specified.
According to him, the photos of Kotsev with the detained father and son Marin and Stefan Dimitrovi were taken from his phone, which was seized during the action at the "Customs" Agency. "The prosecutor's office takes people's phones in the worst possible way, rummages through them, takes out even intimate connections and distributes them through the media," Rashkov added.
