The official government of Dimitar Glavchev was sworn in at the National Assembly, bTV reports. Before that, President Rumen Radev issued a decree on the appointment of the cabinet. For the first time, the caretaker government is sworn in before the parliament, not the president. The change was made with changes to the Constitution.
There is only one name changed in it compared to the composition presented on April 5 by the candidate for caretaker prime minister. The change is in the position of the foreign minister.
Initially, the long-time consul of Bulgaria in Austria, Ivaylo Tsenov, was proposed, and Stefan Dimitrov, who is the ambassador of Bulgaria in Montenegro, will be appointed.
Glavchev announced that Tsenov refused to participate in the government for family reasons.
