The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) terminates the public order for the provision of the machine vote for the European Parliament elections. The CEC will open a new "two in one" for the upcoming vote on June 9. – for the European Parliament and early parliamentary elections. This is clear from the draft agenda of today's committee meeting.

Today, the commission is expected to determine the form and structured electronic form of the lists of voters supporting the registrations in the elections of June 9, 2024. On the agenda of the CEC is also a draft decision on the registration of parties and coalitions to participate in the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and/or in the elections for national representatives on June 9, 2024.

Approval of election paper samples for both types of elections is also expected.

This morning, President Rumen Radev signed a decree appointing a caretaker government of the Republic of Bulgaria in a composition proposed by Prime Minister-designate Dimitar Glavchev. The only change in the composition is the foreign minister - Stefan Dimitrov takes the post, instead of the initially nominated Ivaylo Tsenov.

President Radev has scheduled the elections for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and early parliamentary elections for June 9, 2024.
