The affair in "Mitnitsiki" is a fictional plot. This is an active event that diverts attention from the Notary, because there are heavy dependencies there. The second goal is to discredit the PP-DB before the election. PP-DB MP Atanas Atanasov told BNT, quoted by news.bg.
He emphasized that according to DANS information, the development started a year ago. According to him, however, the former Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the head of the "Customs" Agency, who did not hold these positions at the time, were detained.
Atanasov also criticized the Minister of Internal Affairs, Kalin Stoyanov. According to him, the Minister of Power allowed himself to do something unacceptable by refusing to provide information about the agent past of Martin Bojanov - the Notary before the competent parliamentary committee. The PP-DB MP is adamant that it should be made clear who provided the Notary with an umbrella.
Regarding the upcoming elections, Atanasov said that PP-DB will register today in the CEC. According to him, 10,000 signatures have been collected. He noted that citizens must decide whether they want to return to the status quo or continue the reforms. According to him, the remedy against electoral manipulation is high voter turnout.
Atanasov left the door open to working with GERB after the vote, but emphasized that PP-DB will fight to win the elections, not be the opposition.
