VMRO has registered the lists for the European elections and for its participation in the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Sofia, the formation's press center reports.

Representatives of the voivodes submitted documents to the CEC and the capital OIC. In the battle for Sofia, the vice-president of VMRO and third-term municipal councilor in SOS Carlos Contrera enters. He leads the lists of candidates for VMRO people's representatives in the disputed 23rd and 24th MIR. Contrera is the man who fought hard in the Capital Municipality for more than 8 years. He knows the problems of the capital in detail and fights for their solution – security, stability and future for young families, a good environment for raising children, zero tolerance for illegal migrants, accessible and adequate infrastructure and quality and convenient public transport for the citizens of Sofia and guests of Sofia are among the leading topics of the current municipal councilor. In the traditionally strong for VMRO 25 MIR, Angel Jambazki leads the list.

In the first place in the euro list is again Angel Jambazki, who is the most recognizable Bulgarian MEP already in his second term. Immediately after him in the battle for Brussels is arranged the previous representative in the EP from the civil quota of VMRO Andrey Slabakov. The two of them fought worthy side by side in the EP their battles for an independent and nationally responsible policy of Bulgaria within the EU and for ending the vicious practices of the bureaucracy in Brussels for a “Europe of several speeds”.

The Chairman of VMRO Krasimir Karakachanov enters the contested race for Pirin Macedonia. He will lead the voivodes in Blagoevgrad. This region is of extreme importance to VMRO in the context of the aggressive anti-Bulgarian rhetoric that flourishes in Skopje thanks to the short-sighted diplomacy and foreign policy of the “leaders” of Bulgaria for the last three years. The dangerous tendencies to raise the issue of the Macedonian minority, which has become a leading issue in the race for president in the Republic of Macedonia, makes this end a priority for the leader of VMRO.

Traditionally, Karakachanov stands at the head of the list of VMRO in Pleven.

In the VMRO lists, both for the extraordinary parliamentary elections and for the European elections, the imposition of a strongly expressed civil quota, which will represent prominent people in the public life of the country and in the respective regions, continues. The battle for the traditional family, Christian values and the national identity of Bulgaria are leading in these campaigns as well, say the formation.
