„I am surprised that people who won the elections in Sofia with the slogan that they will change the model, they defend the status quo. GERB did not say a word. The question is not about one or another person, these companies must be developed, they must make efforts to improve the public services they offer”. This was stated by the municipal councilor from VMRO, Carlos Contrera, in the program “The Live Day” on NOVA NEWS on the occasion of the proposal to change the heads of six municipal companies.
„Those who so much used Prof. Stoyan Bratoev as a banner voted against the proposal that he remain at the head of “Metropolitan” – these are the municipal councilors from “The Change”, explained Contrera.
In his words, it turned out that the mayor does not know the management of the transport companies in their entirety. “The transport situation in Sofia has its own problems. I'm afraid that some land lines may become at huge intervals because there is no funding, said the municipal councilor from VMRO.
He explained that there is a delay in salaries at the Center for Urban Mobility. “Why is the Municipality silent on this issue? Perhaps the reason lies in the Municipality itself”, explained Contrera.
According to him, there is a dual approach to the projects – “ the current ones are happening, ribbons are being cut. What they don't like from the last term is bad”, said Contrera.
