Svinarov: Extremely heavy wars are being fought. The way we live, in a few generations we will be in the trees

"I served 45 years ago with an air defense system, which is still in service in the Bulgarian army. Whenever we would have done an upgrade, it would have been too late. We are long overdue and there is no catch-up

" there is hardly any money allocated for this, they must be included in the budget. There must be trained people who will work with this technique", commented Svinarov in the program "The Day ON AIR".

According to him, Bulgaria should take a serious earmarked loan for rearming the army and we should be adequately prepared.

"The war had moved so far away from our territory and from Europe for 80 years that we forgot why we have an army and why we need to feed it. There is no understanding and national unity on any major issue: such as Schengen, such as the adoption of the Euro, such as the adoption of laws under the Recovery Plan. There were numerous laws that could have been passed in those 2-3 months. There is no community because of the personal interests of a certain group of people," the former Minister of Defense emphasized for Bulgaria ON AIR.

"When the judiciary is put in the humiliating position of not being able to form its bodies, there is really no way to respond to complaints about the lack of justice. Some think that the new composition of the SJC will be of ideal people who will be moral, honest, prepared. It is by no means certain that the new members from the professional and parliamentary quota will be a better composition", declared Svinarov.

When there are significant and powerful leaders who have no interest in judicial reform, it cannot be implemented, he believes.

"There will be no direct relation to Bulgaria. By moving into such an international structure, it cannot protect Bulgarian interests. He will protect the interests of the Alliance, we cannot rely on a magic wand to help us", Svinarov is convinced.

"Extremely difficult wars are being fought. A mechanism must be found to control the states and settle peacefully. "The way we live, in just a few generations we'll be walking through the trees like monkeys," warned the guest.

The former military minister pointed out that in recent years we live better.

"People are happier. The resorts in Bulgaria, Turkey and Greece are full of Bulgarians. Savings don't come out of thin air. There is for everything. You must be protected by the Alliance to be the Switzerland of the Balkans," Svinarov noted.
