One person died and eight were injured in an accident on the Yambol road – Sliven, reported the correspondent of bTV in the region.
The signal was sent to phone number 112 around 01:30 at night. According to initial data, a car entered the oncoming traffic lane and crashed head-on into a passenger bus.
The 49-year-old driver of the car died on the spot. The passengers from the van – 8 people were transported for examination and treatment in hospitals in Yambol and Sliven.
The victims have various injuries, and one of the passengers is life-threatening. After the incident, traffic in the area was temporarily restricted.
Procedural investigative actions have been carried out, pre-trial proceedings have been initiated.
