"Our goal as a caretaker government will be the organization of fair early parliamentary elections. We have experience already, I hope we can only build from here on". The changes you see are brought about more with a view to calming political tensions than by a job poorly done. They were carried out in dialogue with the President of the Republic Rumen Radev.

This was stated at the beginning of the meeting of the Council of Ministers by acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev.

Glavchev announced that during the meeting they should adopt a decision to make the coordinator of the elections the Minister of Innovation Rosen Karadimov. According to him, he will carry out a good dialogue.

The changes in the cabinet were brought about rather with a view to calming the political tension. This was said at the beginning of the first regular meeting of the "Glavchev 2" Cabinet. the acting prime minister.

He did not fail to joke, saying: "Unlike the previous meetings, which we did not know if they were the last, here it is certain that this is the first of this government".

Dimitar Glavchev defined the government as a transition from the previous one, which according to him did a good job.

"The changes you see are brought about more with a view to calming political tensions than by a job poorly done. They were carried out in dialogue with the President of the Republic Rumen Radev. We will continue to do our work as we did it in the previous composition of the caretaker government," said the caretaker prime minister.

He called on the parties to focus on their election campaign and not so much on the caretaker government because it ensures that it will be equally distant. He pointed out the organization of fair elections as the main goals, as well as following the chosen European path of development and taking care of the good way of life of Bulgarian citizens.

"The deadline for submitting applications for European Commissioner is today. The process itself starts from tomorrow," he added.

"It will be difficult for us to make a decision. However, there are principles and criteria that we must adhere to. And that's what the rules are for, to be followed. We will submit applications that meet the rules. I'm sure whoever they prefer in the EC, which is actually also making a proposal. The process is quite long. Any speculations that there are allocated resources are untenable," Glavchev pointed out.

Dimitar Glavchev must present two nominations to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. The parliamentary groups put forward a total of 7 candidacies - 4 women and 3 men.
