Every vote of no confidence that is required before Bulgaria enters the eurozone is not a vote that wants to overthrow the government, but one that wants to stop Bulgaria's pro-European path. This opinion was expressed on the air of “Your Day” on NOVA NEWS by Venko Sabrutev from PP-DB. He added that the party will not participate in the vote.
“We are the only pro-European and anti-corruption party in Bulgaria. In fact, we are fighting corruption, we are pushing for the anti-corruption laws under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan to happen. Until we see all of them on second reading in the National Assembly, I remain skeptical that they will be adopted”, the MP added.
And he criticized other parties in parliament.
„Ask your colleagues from GERB, „DPS - New Beginning”, BSP, ITN why these laws are delayed for a year and a half. Why did two chairmen of the National Assembly from GERB and now one from the BSP also delay the adoption of these laws by a year and a half”, Sabrutev asked.
