It will be mostly sunny, BTA reported. Cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will develop after noon and in many places there will be short-term, temporarily intense rain showers.

In the Danube Plain, the Fore-Balkans and Eastern Bulgaria, precipitation will be significant and accompanied by thunderstorms. The wind will remain weak, temperatures will rise a little more, the maximums will be between 24° and 29°, in Sofia - around 24°.

On the night of Saturday in Northwestern Bulgaria the wind will be oriented from the west-northwest, it will strengthen and with it colder air will invade.

On the Black Sea coast sunny weather will prevail with temporary increases in cloudiness and in places along the northern coast short-term rain will fall. A weak to moderate southeast wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 21° and 24°. The temperature of the sea water will be from 12° to 17°. Sea waves - 2-3 balls.

Before noon in the mountains it will be mostly sunny. After noon cumulus and cumulus-rainy clouds will develop. In many places there will be short-term, temporarily intense precipitation, mainly in the Stara Planina Mountains the precipitation will be temporarily intense and accompanied by thunderstorms. A moderate and strong southwest wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 18°, at 2000 meters - about 12°.

A rainy situation will develop over the weekend. On Saturday over Western and Southern Bulgaria, on Sunday over Western and Central Bulgaria, powerful cumulus-rain clouds will develop and in many places there will be short-term precipitation. The probability of locally being temporarily intense and significant in quantity, with thunderstorms and hail is increasing. There will be less precipitation in the eastern regions, there will also be sunny hours.

On Saturday the wind will be oriented from the northwest, on Sunday in the eastern half of the country - initially from the east-southeast, subsequently - from the northeast. Cool air will move in and temperatures will drop significantly. (NIMH)
