The option of having early parliamentary elections in October, which aim to preempt the creation of President Rumen Radev's political project, is not ruled out. The ground is already ripe for GERB and "DPS-New Beginning" to enter the government together, without the support of the BSP and ITN. This was said on the air of the Bulgarian National Radio by Guner Tahir, founder of the National Movement for Rights and Freedoms (NDPS and former member of the DPS.

According to him, it is clear to everyone that the majority is currently governed by Delyan Peevski, pointing out that he cannot explain Boyko Borisov's passivity. According to him, there is a reason for having an early vote, since the partners in the current cabinet are parties that may not even cross the barrier next time.

Tahir is not optimistic about the future of the DPS faction around Ahmed Dogan. If they manage to stay afloat, they could enter parliament only one more time, he predicts. Tahir believes that their chance is when they create a new party, they can to set foot on new foundations, to find young people, and not to seek the protection of Ahmed Dogan and his entourage.

Regarding the request of deputies from Dogan's MRF to the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Treasury Department to impose sanctions on Peevski's MRF under the "Magnitsky" Act, Tahir commented that an evolution of their opinion is noticeable. I would believe the colleagues who complain about Peevski if they were consistent in their opinion on this issue, and they changed their positions 180 degrees whether Peevski works for the party or for themselves, he emphasized.

Tahir recalled that when in 2021 it first became clear that Peevski was sanctioned under the "Magnitsky" Act, "the leadership defended him like Matrosov in the embrasure", then it was also said that he was from the civil quota.

Tahir also cannot explain Dzhevdet Chakarov's action of withdrawing his appeal against the refusal to expel Delyan Peevski as a member and chairman of the MRF. He pointed out that this avoided the possibility of the court ruling on this dispute.

When asked what the original MRF was, he pointed out that both Dzhevdet Chakarov and Delyan Peevski are external bodies to this organization. As someone who participated in the very founding of this party, it seems strange to me when someone, like a cuckoo, lays eggs in someone else's nest, the politician made a figurative comparison.

In the early 1990s, we founded the structures of this party and laid its foundations, and these people were not there, Tahir emphasized.
