The deputies from the Committee for Control over the Services will hear the heads of SANS and the State Agency "Intelligence". The occasion – a finding in the annual report of the National Security Agency for 2024 that a lasting trend persists - foreigners using Bulgarian visas to enter the territory of Bulgaria and looking for ways to settle in other European countries, reports BNT.
The two heads of the services must answer the questions of the deputies of the committee - how many cases have been identified and from which countries were the foreigners? In addition, it must also be made clear - whether this opportunity has been used as a channel for the penetration of foreign special services in our country and in EU countries? As well as what measures are the Bulgarian services taking to counter this threat to security?
