The Sofia City Court imposed a preventive measure "cash bail" in the amount of 50,000 leva on Nikola Nikolov – Pascal, who is facing three charges, including smuggling.
According to the court, there is no danger that Nikolov will abscond, but there is a danger that he will commit another crime. However, this can be overcome with a measure other than "detention in custody".
The decision is subject to appeal and protest before a higher instance.
