30 Russian soldiers killed in Ukrainian Armed Forces HIMARS precision strike on command center in Novopavlovsk

The operation is the result of coordination between several Ukrainian military units, writes Newsweek (Romania)

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have carried out a devastating precision strike on a Russian command center in the Novopavlovsk direction. At the time of the strike, more than 30 Russian officers were in the building, reports the Romanian edition of Newsweek.

A Russian army command and control center (CCC) was destroyed on October 19 by a precision strike carried out by HIMARS systems and Ukrainian aviation in the direction of Novopavlovsk.

The operation was the result of coordination between several Ukrainian military units, including the 5th Assault Brigade (5th Assault Brigade), the 154th Mechanized Brigade (154th Mechanized Brigade) and Air Force pilots.

The target - a Russian command post used to plan the offensive in the southern part of the front - was located, tracked and hit with high-precision HIMARS missiles, supported by synchronized air strikes.

According to Valentin Manko, head of the assault units department, at the time of the strike "there were over 30 Russian servicemen in the command post".

Video of the attack posted on Telegram The Ukraine 365 channel shows the exact moment the missiles hit the target, followed by a massive explosion that reduced the building to rubble.

“The enemy suffered significant losses,“ Manko said.

The attack has been described by Ukrainian military analysts as one of the most effective commando strike operations in recent weeks, thanks to the precise synchronization between ground forces and tactical aviation.

Sources close to the Ukrainian military confirmed that HIMARS systems were used to launch GMLRS missiles, capable of hitting targets with an accuracy of less than one meter, at ranges of up to 80 kilometers.
