We have an open problem with Bulgaria, but it does not seem that there is an interlocutor on the other side. We are willing to reach a fair agreement, but for every agreement I want to know, unlike my predecessors in the government, what Macedonia and its citizens get from all this.

This was the opinion expressed by the RSM Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski in Kavadarci after his re-election as president of VMRO-DPMNE, quoted by MKD.

"I want to know exactly what future we will provide for our people. The European Union seems unwilling to charm this process, mainly because of its own internal problems," Mickoski also said, adding that the RSM has given a lot on its way to the EU.

"Let's be realistic, we must pay attention first and foremost to the domestic ones, in order to ensure a future for all citizens - Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Roma, Serbs, Lahs, Bosniaks and all the rest," Mickoski emphasized.

According to him, the problem is not in the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution itself, but in the new conditions that may follow after that.

"The issue with Bulgaria is not whether there will be Bulgarians in the Constitution. They can be there from tomorrow and I have no problem with that, the problem is that this is not the end, but new and new conditions will begin here, and Macedonia will become a new experiment, after changing its name twice, changing its flag, documents and who knows how many times it has changed the Constitution," he explained.

According to the prime minister, the decision should guarantee that the country's identity will be preserved.
