Iran has received the US plan to end the war in the Middle East, officials said, amid the deployment of ground troops and more marines to the region, the Associated Press reported, quoted by BTA.

Tehran has publicly rejected diplomatic efforts and carried out new attacks on Israel and Gulf countries, including an attack that caused a major fire at Kuwait International Airport. Iran itself also continues to be targeted.

The English-language channel of Iranian state television quoted an anonymous government official as saying that Tehran had rejected the 15-point US peace proposal. The Press TV report was broadcast after Pakistan conveyed the offer to Iran.

Earlier in the day, Tehran said it considered the US conditions excessive and stressed that it would end the war at a time of its own choosing and if its conditions were met.

Iranian authorities have made their own peace proposal, which includes paying reparations and sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz, which they consider their "natural legal right", Press TV reported.

The US-Israeli strikes on Iran have affected or destroyed more than 85,000 civilian buildings, according to the latest figures from the Iranian Red Crescent, quoted by IRNA.

The head of the humanitarian organization Pirhossein Kolivand said today that the attacks caused severe damage to 64,583 residential buildings, 19,694 commercial sites, as well as a number of other non-military buildings in various provinces.

In Tehran, over 26,717 residential buildings and commercial sites were affected.

Kolivand added that there was significant damage to 282 health facilities, pharmacies and emergency centers. Some hospitals, such as "Gandhi" and "Andishmok", have completely or partially ceased operations due to severe damage.

Meanwhile, the head of the information and public relations center at the Ministry of Education reported that from the beginning of the war until March 24, 184 students and 46 teachers had been killed, and 644 schools and educational centers had been partially or completely destroyed. During the same period, 177 students and teachers had been injured.
