Members of the military wing of the Palestinian Islamist organization “Hamas” executed three Palestinians yesterday in the western part of the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip for alleged cooperation with Israel, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
Further details about the deaths of the three men were not initially released by the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades.
Israeli troops entered the eastern part of the city of Rafah the previous night. Israel's goal is to destroy the military and governance capacity of “Hamas” in the Gaza Strip.
The background of the events is the unprecedented massacre of more than 1,200 people by fighters from “Hamas” and other extremist organizations in the Israeli border area on October 7, 2023, DPA recalls.
„Hamas“ wants to keep control of the Gaza Strip, which it captured in 2007.
