A forest fire is raging north of Los Angeles and authorities have issued an order to evacuate people from the area, the Associated Press reported, quoted by BTA.

The storm affected 14.5 square kilometers near Interstate 5 in Gorman, about 100 kilometers northwest of Los Angeles.

An investigation into the cause of the fire has begun.
