Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz and Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance have agreed to a debate between the two on October 1, putting the US vice presidential candidates against each other at a time when in some states, early voting for the presidential elections in November begins, the Associated Press reported, writes BTA.

The media "CBS News" (CBS News) reported on her "X" profile yesterday that she has invited both Vance and Waltz to a debate in New York City and offered them four possible dates – September 17, September 24, October 1 and October 8.

"See you on October 1st, JD", posted the profile on "X" of Kamala Harris and Waltz's presidential campaign and added that Waltz is looking forward to debating JD Vance if he responds.

Officials from the Harris and Walz campaigns, as well as representatives from CNN, have not yet responded to an inquiry about whether Walz has accepted the invitation for September 18 and whether other dates are being discussed, according to the AP.
