Elon Musk on Monday denied that he gave a Tesla Cybertruck to Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, the European edition of Politico reported, as quoted by Focus.
"Are you really that weak-minded to think I gave a Cybertruck to a Russian general?“ — wrote Musk on the social network X.
"Another example of how much traditional media lies,”, he added.
On Saturday, Kadyrov posted a video on Telegram showing himself behind the wheel of a Tesla car that appears to be equipped with a gun turret, and thanked Musk for sending it.
"Ilon, thank you! Come to Grozny, I will receive you as my dearest guest!“ — said Kadyrov, a staunch ally of Putin, who is under US and EU sanctions. He added that he will send a Cybertruck to the battlefield in Ukraine.
