Several Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 30 Palestinians in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, said health workers quoted by the Associated Press and BTA.
The strikes came as officials, including a delegation from the Palestinian Islamist movement "Hamas", were arriving in neighboring Egypt for high-level talks on a Gaza ceasefire, AP noted.
Among the dead are 11 people from one family, including two children. They fell victim to an airstrike that hit their home in Khan Yunis, medics from Nasser Hospital reported. A total of 33 bodies of those killed in three strikes in the city and its surroundings, including those on cars and pedestrians, were brought to the hospital. Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital reported that the bodies of three people killed in another strike were brought into it.
The Israeli military said it was verifying the information.
