Fighter pilots of the Black Sea Fleet's naval aviation are ready to destroy a Ukrainian F-16 in the sky, a combat pilot with the call sign “Baikal“ told RIA Novosti.
The pilot told the agency that they were ready to meet the Ukrainian F-16s in air combat. Modern Su-30SM multipurpose fighters have all the characteristics necessary for confrontation, and in the air combat itself, the skills of the pilot decide, and Russian pilots have such skills.
„We are always ready for any enemy weapons and aircraft. When it comes to air combat, it is no secret that Russian pilots are far more experienced and far more trained in air combat than any pilot of any country. Everything depends on the pilot, and the F-16 will not help them, as the vaunted Su-27, MiG-29 and all the others did not help them, says Baikal.
The commander of US air forces in Europe and Africa, General James Hecker, said earlier in September that Ukrainian pilots lacked the experience to fly complex missions in Western-supplied F-16 fighter jets. and Kiev's allies cannot train Ukrainian pilots to fly the F-16 fast enough.
