Russia hits Zaporozhye with Iranian "Shahed" drones

The attack caused a fire, injured a woman; strikes were also registered in Kiev, Zhytomyr and Cherkasy

The Russian armed forces carried out a new night attack with drones against the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye. This was reported by the DPA agency, citing the head of the regional military administration Ivan Fedorov, BTA reports.

According to the information, the attack hit critical infrastructure and partially destroyed an administrative building. A fire broke out at the site of the attack, in which one woman was injured, Fedorov specified in a post on his Telegram channel.

At least seven Iranian "Shahed" drones were used in the attack. In addition to infrastructure facilities, several residential buildings were also hit, the governor added.

According to data from Ukrainian authorities said drone and missile strikes were also recorded in Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and the capital Kiev. DPA notes that the information could not be independently confirmed.
