Israel is "very close" to achieving its goals in Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a press conference.
"This is a regime that wants to destroy us and that is why we launched this operation to eliminate two specific threats to our existence: the nuclear threat and the ballistic missile threat. We are moving step by step towards achieving these goals, we are very close to achieving them," Netanyahu said.
According to the prime minister, Israel "will not be drawn into a war of attrition" but "will not stop this historic operation until it achieves all its goals."
“When we achieve our goals in Iran, we will not continue any longer than necessary, but we will not stop the operation too soon,“ he continued.
“We have already achieved a lot, and now, with the help of President Trump, we are even closer to achieving our goals,“ Netanyahu added.
