In an interview with "Channel 12", Defense Minister Israel Katz revealed that Israel launched military action against Iran without knowing whether US President Donald Trump would join the offensive, News.bg reports.
However, he stressed that Israel was confident that the United States would provide support in defending the country.
„In the Defense Ministry, we knew that the US was with us – and they did an incredible job“, Katz said.
The minister also admitted that Israel does not have complete information about the location of all of Iran's enriched uranium, but stressed that the military strikes have destroyed Tehran's capabilities to uranium enrichment.
“The uranium itself, the material, was not the target of the attack“, he clarified.
Repeating statements made to other media outlets, Katz stressed that Israel would have killed Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei “if he was in our line of sight“.
