Night Russian strikes turn Kiev military missile plant into catacombs

Serious damage was also reported in the area of the Elekon plant, which produces electrical equipment, and the Aeros company, which produces aviation equipment

The Kiev military plant "Artem", which produces air-to-air missiles and aviation equipment, has suffered serious damage, eyewitnesses told TASS.

“The night strikes by the Russian armed forces in recent weeks have led to the destruction of many industrial and military facilities in Kiev“, said a source to the agency. “When you pass by the "Artem" plant near the "Lukyanovskaya" metro station, the picture resembles catacombs.“

Serious damage, according to local residents, were also registered in the Solomensky district near the Zhulyany airport, where the Elekon plant, which produces electrical equipment, and the Aeros company, which produces aviation equipment, are located.

“The strikes here took place at night and there were no casualties, but the scale of the destruction is significant,” said one of the residents.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported night strikes by Russian troops on enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex in Kiev and the infrastructure of a military airport.
