The Kremlin has no information about the possibility of a meeting between Russian and American Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, as well as with Chinese President Xi Jinping, on the sidelines of the celebration in China of the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan.
This is how the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov commented on the publication of The Times to TASS.
“We know nothing about the possibility of such a meeting“, the Kremlin spokesman noted.
The British newspaper The Times came out with the claim that a meeting of the leaders of three victorious countries - Russia, China and the USA - is possible during the September celebration of the end of World War II in China.
China will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory on a large scale, and Russian President Vladimir Putin has already received an invitation to visit Beijing. It is not known whether Donald Trump will arrive in the Chinese capital, but the publication considers his visit unlikely.
