The SUV is based on the Mercedes-AMG G 63 and uses a special chassis developed by the German studio itself. The pickup's ground clearance reaches 470 millimeters, and the power of the V8 engine is 800 horsepower.
The Brabus studio did not delay with the next premiere and just a week after the presentation of the five-door SUV XL 800, it launched a technically related pickup truck, the XLP 800 Adventure.
Both all-terrain vehicles are built on the basis of the restyled version of the Mercedes-AMG G 63. They share a common chassis with so-called final drives on both axles and adjustable Brabus Ride Control shock absorbers with titanium coating.
The engine is a 4.0-liter V8 with 800 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque. In order to attach a cargo platform to the two-row cabin, the wheelbase was increased by half a meter, and the cardan shaft was specially lengthened in Bottrop.
Thanks to the “portals“, the ground clearance of the XLP 800 Adventure is 470 millimeters, and the maximum wading depth is 916 mm. The SUV has 22-inch Brabus Monoblock HD wheels.
The equipment includes a winch with a force of 4.5 tons and a sports exhaust system with switchable valves and Coming Home mode. At the same time, the car receives electric steps and new hinges that allow the rear doors to open at an angle of up to 90 degrees.
The XLP 800 Adventure reaches 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. The maximum speed is limited to 210 km/h, due to the high center of gravity and off-road tires.
The interior of the demonstration car is fully upholstered in Sky Blue leather with double diamond stitching and perforations. Above the heads of the rear passengers there is a speedometer and an overload indicator. This pickup costs almost 900 thousand euros.
